find a mental health service in my area? find a community service in enfield? find out about job opportunities? how do i access copies of my information? let you know about my experience - a compliment, a complaint or a concern find one of our location s see news and events find out about accessible information standard the trust has received an overall rating as 'requires improvement' following our care quality commission inspection in 2017. you can find the full report on the cqc website . latest news camlet 1 fire – chase farm hospital site at 22:11 on sunday 10th june the london fire brigade were called to barnet, enfield and haringey mental health nhs trust’s (beh) chase farm site to a fire on the ground floor of the camlet 1 building. eight fire engines and more than 50 firefighters dealt with the fire in the two storey beh building. 45 people were evacuated, with seven needing assistance for smoke inhalation at the scene. three members of staff and one patient needed additional treatment and were taken to barnet general hospital. they have now been discharged. of the 45 patients evacuated 31 returned safely to their wards once the fire was put out, while 14 patients were found alternative accommodation for the night in unaffected parts of the building. beh has now found all 14 patients appropriate accommodation across its trust premises until the ward is operational again. the fire was contained to mint ward in camlet 1, with severe fire damage to the toilet area, and smoke and soot damage to the ward corridor. fire safety precautions such as fire doors worked well and contained the fire, so there is minimal damage to the rest of the ward and building. mint ward is separated into two wings, each of seven beds, and only one wing was damaged. no other services on the chase farm site have been affected by the fire. beh provides care for 176 patients in a secure mental health setting at three camlet buildings on the chase farm site. the cause of the fire is under investigation. general data protection regulation - gdpr barnet, enfield and haringey mental health nhs trust has updated it’s privacy notice to meet the requirements under the general data protection regulation which came into force on the 25th may. major advances in redevelopment of st ann’s hospital, haringey over the last few weeks there have been major advances in the plans for the redevelopment of st ann’s hospital in haringey. barnet, enfield and haringey mental health nhs trust has agreed the sale of part of the site which is surplus to nhs needs to the greater london authority (gla). the gla will develop the surplus land for housing, with at least 50% of the new homes being designated as affordable housing. 22 of the flats to be built will be available to the trust to use to help recruit clinical staff. the trust has also recently received final planning approval from haringey council this year for the new mental health inpatient building, to replace the current three adult wards and specialist eating disorders ward. this follows a lot of work with patients, carers and staff and the trust’s design and build partner, integrated health projects. following final approval, expected in the summer this year, construction of the new mental health building will commence in early 2019, with completion by early 2021. tweets by @behmhtnhs twitter facebook email this page © 2018 - barnet enfield and haringey mental health trust powered by sitekit cms
